I am a magazine editor, who was the editor-in-chief of five national magazines in the 90s and early-to-mid aughts. Now, I write and teach at NYU and for Writer’s Digest and with my private Zoom groups comprised of former and current students. I’m also the host of the podcast Freelance Writing Direct.

When I’m not writing and editing, I’m a wife, and a mom to a teenage daughter, who has been my muse and will be again (once she is out of this “teen” phase).

I love teaching; writing; editing; magazines and online publications and helping inspire people to build their craft.

I hope I can be your literary fairy godmother.
